Tremor Network Acquires In-Stream Advertising Firm Dynadco
Companies to Integrate Technology, Advertising and Business Services, Opening up New Channels of Communication for Clients
NEW YORK, Jan. 18 – Tremor Network, a provider of contextual targeting technology and powerful rich media applications today announced it has completed its acquisition of Dynadco, the creators of Ad-inStream(TM), the only in-stream video ad-scheduling solution that leverages third-party ad logic servers to deliver relevant ads to individual viewers. Tremor Network’s acquisition of Dynadco is being accounted for as a pooling of interests and is expected to generate a 700% increase in revenue over the next year.
The combined firm will be the only one in the industry to provide comprehensive in-banner and in-stream advertising solutions, and further expands the unique rich media and video advertising capabilities available throughout Tremor’s global network serving 60 million unique users per month. The acquisition provides additional distribution channels for Tremor’s video advertising clients and diversifies the reach and revenue potential of Tremor’s publisher network.
“We successfully completed the acquisition and are moving swiftly to integrate the company’s Ad-inStream technology, business services, and advertising programs into our network,” said Jason Glickman, chief executive officer, Tremor Network. “This acquisition is a natural fit for both companies as well as our customers. As a result, we plan to provide our advertising clients and web publishers with effective in-stream video solutions that capitalize on the exploding demand for online video.”
Dynadco, now Tremor Network, will continue to be located in New York City. Dynadco founder and chief executive officer, Jesse Chenard, has been named chief technology officer of Tremor Network. Mr. Chenard will continue to have day-to-day operating and management responsibility, and will provide technical, operational and strategic direction to Tremor Network’s video advertising platform and services.
“With our patent-pending Ad-inStream technology, Tremor Network will enable publishers to integrate highly targeted video advertising into their content. Publishers can quickly and easily schedule the ads to run as pre-roll, mid-roll, or post-roll placements. There is no editing involved and the custom targeted ads can be integrated dynamically,” said Jesse Chenard, founder of Dynadco, and now chief technology officer of Tremor Network.
