Tremor Media and Brightcove Partner to Deliver Brand Safe Online Video Advertising Opportunities to Agencies and Marketers
Industry Leaders to Coordinate on Advancing Best Practices in Video Advertising
New York – May 7, 2007 – Tremor Media (www.tremormedia.com), the leading online video advertising network, today announced that it has added inventory from the Brightcove Network to the Tremor Media video ad network, making it easier for advertisers to take advantage of high-quality, brand safe Internet video.

The Brightcove Network inventory available to Tremor Media includes high-quality video content that has been vetted based on content length, advertiser friendliness and production value to ensure the highest value for advertisers. Brightcove Network publishers are added on a periodic basis, with content and destination sites reviewed before acceptance.
As leaders in the video advertising industry and members of the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s Digital Video Committee, Tremor Media and Brightcove will work across both companies’ platforms to directly address issues facing the digital video advertising industry, including measurement, standards and best practices. As a first step toward this goal, all ads sold under the agreement will be 15-seconds or less in duration. Other areas of focus will include frequency and rotation management of advertising creative to optimize campaign performance.
The addition of inventory from Brightcove Network publishers to Tremor’s network of more than 400 top-tier sites expands one of the largest aggregations of high-quality, brand-safe online video content currently available to advertisers. Brightcove Network content sold by Tremor Media will be incorporated into Tremor’s network channels and sold on a category, targeted or custom channel basis, and not as individual publishers. Brightcove will continue to sell strategic offerings to brand advertisers and agencies directly.
